Eastport is the historic Maritime peninsula of Annapolis, MD. It is located between Spa Creek and Back Creek just southeast of the historic downtown. Eastport a Rockin’ is held at the end of Second Street on the Back Creek Side.
Finding parking in Annapolis can be difficult, and Eastport is a small neighborhood with tiny streets. We recommend you park at one of the downtown garages (Hillman is closest and the Bladen Street Garage at Calvert and Rowe is free) and walk, shuttle, circulate or pedicab to the festival. It is about a 15-minute walk to the festival, but, hey, you’ll spend that much time looking for parking in Eastport anyway!
If you don’t feel like walking, you can hop a ride on the Mother’s Peninsula Grille Shuttle! Providing round-trip air conditioned service from Market House to Eastport a Rockin’ the Mother’s Shuttle allows you to rock all the way to and from the festival. Pick it up right at the Market House (25 Market St Annapolis MD 21401) and rock in style!
You can also take a Chariots of Annapolis Pedicab! 6 Pedicabs will be out and about all day on Saturday, taking people to and from the homes and cars in Eastport and over the bridge to the Pedicab base near the Market House. To request a Pedicab pickup, call 443-333-9770.
The City Circulator stops right near the Market House, so you can hop on the trolley anywhere along its route in downtown Annapolis and take it to the Market House where you can connect to the Shuttle or a Pedicab and be on your way to Festival.
Another choice is to hop on a city bus. Check Out the Bus Map and Schedule Here.
A maritime alternative is taking the Water Taxi to the dock at the McNasby building of the Annapolis Maritime Museum.
Docking on the piers at the Museum is for Museum members only. Please contact the Museum for more information. Those coming on their own vessels are encouraged to park at the neighboring marinas with transient slips. For Eastport Yacht Center, call 410-280-9988 or use Channel #16. For Horn Point Harbor, call 410-263-0550.
